11/08/2015, Exhibition extended to December 5, 2015: Photographs by Phil Penman are showing at the Leica Store New York SoHo. In addition the Leica Store is presenting a lecture with the photographer on November 14.

The images capture the NY-based Leica photographer’s impressions of the metropolis. In his street photography, Penman especially focuses on the manifestations of urban culture in all its forms, from fashion to sport.

Penman predominantly specialises in portrait photography – famous subjects include Bill Gates and Jennifer Lopez. His work has been featured in magazines such as Time and Newsweek. In addition, Penman photographs for Chalet Magazine, a quarterly publication dedicated to contemporary bike culture, both worldwide and specifically in New York.
