07/17/2017, The new firmware update for the Leica M10 is now available to download. Version 1.9.4.0 corrects a bug from the previous version 1.7.4.0, whereby short exposure times could in some cases lead to black images.  

The new firmware version 1.9.4.0 makes the Leica M10 compatible with a wider choice of SD cards. With the previous version, certain SD cards were not recognised, or could not be used at full write speed.

The Leica M10 supports SDHC/SDXC cards from 1GB to 512 GB. It is recommended to use cards with a minimum write speed of 80 MB/s to avoid restricting the camera’s performance.
