05/27/2017, The exhibition, Monochrom.Life, by the Schäfers will be on display from July 5 to September 11 in the foyer of the Augustinum Heidelberg. The exhibition vernissage will be held at 6pm on July 19. On that evening, art historian Aloisia Föllmer with give an introduction to the exhibition.

Birgit and Roger Schäfer are enthusiastic black and white photographers. In their picture compositions, they emphasise light and shadows, contrasts, lines and shapes. On display are pictures taken in Schwetzingen, at Lorsch Monastery, in Hamburg, Weinheim, Mannheim and of the Augustinum Heidelberg. Most of the pieces being exhibited were taken with a Leica M Monochrom.
