02/13/2017, Photographers are invited to submit their work for this year’s PHmuseum Grant until 15 February 2017. Established in 2012, the renowned British award is given out annually by the curated photography platform Phmuseum. Among the previous winners are photographers such as Max Pinckers, Diana Markosian, Tomas van Houtryve, Rasmus Degnbol and Clémentine Schneiderman.

The jury consists of the following four members: Emma Bowkett (Director of Photography at the Financial Times FT Weekend Magazine), Sarah Leen (Director of Photography National Geographic Magazine and Partners), Alejandro Chaskielberg (Photographer) and Ihiro Hayami (Director of Tokyo Institute of Photography).

The award is open to all photographers, including those outside the PHmuseum network. Applicants are invited to present visual projects centred around a specific theme, narrative or concept. The prizes comprise a total of £12,000 (around €14.000), as well as a solo exhibition at the Cortona On The Move festival, an article in Witness (the online publication of the World Press Photo Foundation), a projection display at the Just Another Photo Festival, and promotions via the channels of the PHmuseum platform.
