Ralph Gibson Workshop

12/20/2017, In January 2018, Leica Gallery Salzburg will host a workshop on the topic of Nude Photography with Ralph Gibson – offering participants a rare opportunity to expand their visual horizons under the guidance of one of the great masters of contemporary photography.

The two-day workshop is designed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each participant’s visual language, with the aim of respectively emphasising or eliminating specific elements of their approach.

To begin with, Gibson will offer an in-depth review and critique of each participant’s portfolio or body of work. Over the next two days, participants will work on developing their individual signature style on the basis of the nude human figure. Gibson will share his expertise with regards to lighting and demonstrate various techniques designed to help photographers create book and exhibition projects that are uniquely their own.

The workshop is strictly limited to 12 spaces.
