02/27/2017, Interested participants now have up until March 12 to register for the workshop with Magnum photographer Patrick Zachmann, and secure one of the last available seats.

During his workshop from March 24 until 26, 2017, Zachmann will help participants to develop an inimitable, individual look. The French Magnum photographer will alternate between presenting his own photographic work as well as films and multi-media productions, and giving the participants personal tips during portfolio reviews. For this reason, no practical experience phases are planned.

The emphasis will lie on:
Picture setting, composition, light
How can the aesthetics of a picture convey the content?
How do you find your personal distance to the subject?
How do you find your own angle?
How do you tell a story visually?
How do you edit a story that has already been photographed?
