Once upon a time millions of elephants roamed the African savannah. Today it is not only their habitat that is shrinking; every year, tens of thousands of them fall victim to ivory hunters. With the help of the Masai, organisations like the Big Life Foundation are trying the protect these highly intelligent mammals.
