Anatomy of a Photobook: Fabio Bucciarelli’s “The Dream”. The Italian photographer’s long-term project documents the largest migration movement since the Second World War, questions the causes for the humanitarian catastrophe and shows the consequences of the conflicts in Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. Bucciarelli's deeply human images reveal the destroyed everyday lives of those involved, making the impact of the war immediately comprehensible. As a result, his pictures give voice to the women, children and men caught between two fronts, and in search of security and a place to lead a dignified life.
