Info

The French newspaper, Le Monde, dedicated its July 15-17, 2017 week-end issue to a special supplement focussing on the situation in Turkey, with photographs by Nicole Tung. A year after the attempted coup on July 15, 2016, a large part of Turkish society is plague by legal despotism, mass arrests and releases, as well as repressions against any critics of the President. There is evidence of an increasing departure from a democratic system.
