The Italian photo journalist travelled to Hebron in November 2015, to report on the conflict between Arabs and Israelis, which is often referred to as the “third Intifada”. During that time, Tugnoli lived with an Arab family. The city in the West Bank represents the Palestinian conflict in miniature format: Arabs and Israeli settlers, protected by the army, live side by side here in very close quarters.
